Local musicians of all ages and styles are invited to audition to be a part of one of several WaterFire Pop Up Bands. The bands formed as a result, will perform at WaterFire on September 27.
The auditions will be held at PSU-Shenango Auditorium (147 Shenango Ave. Sharon, PA 16146) on Saturday June 7 from 2 – 6pm. Bring your instrument, gear, or voice for four consecutive jam sessions rotating every 30 minutes to find the perfect mix of musicians to create a WaterFire Pop Up Band.
All musicians are welcome to participate, but you should be confident in your instrument and excited to perform in front of a large crowd.
Pop Up Bands will have a 20 minute set, with at least one original song. The rest can be either originals or covers.
This is perfect for the musician looking for a new project but just can’t commit to a full-time band.
